Section the first: The hero

(First off, it is reccomended that you take Mary Sue tests for the Hero)

Is your hero mute?

Are they simply "The Player character", a Gordon Freeman, Link if you must? (Still fill out the back-story of the hero)

Is the hero...
-Male (+5)
-Female (-5)

Is their hair colour...
-Brown (+5)
-Blonde(-2)
-Red (0)
-Black (+2)
-Strawberry Blonde (-5)
-Dirty-Blonde (-3)
-Any other non-normal hair colour (+5)
-Multi-coloured hair that contains any of the above
-Silver (+10)

Is their hairstyle
-Flat
-Spiky (+5)
-Taller than their head
-Long and flowing
--long, Flowing, and Silver. (+15)
-Contain one little Alfalfa-cowlick and their hair is blonde (+10)
-Covered by a hat or Banadana (+3)

Does your character stand out because of their hairstyle?

Do they have Amnesia? (+30)
-Is it important to the story? (+15)

Do they not have amnesia...but simply have as much past as the average FPS hero? (little to none)

Is your character employed?
-No (skip to next section)
-Yes

If the hero is employed, are they...
-A mercenary
-A soldier
-Next in line for a Royal Throne
-A leader of an army or unit
-A monster slayer
-Some kind of person who does tasks
-A student of sorts.
-An Assassin
-A thief

Were they FORMERLY employed as one of those?

If your character is a soldier, do they stand out because they don't wear a helmet or have different coloured hair?

If they are unemployed are they
-Forced into a war
-Forced to defend themselves from a monster
-Kidnapped
-Running away from home
-Find themselves in an unfamiliar landscape.

Disregarding your job, is your character
-A peasant
-Royalty or Nobility
--ADOPTED into Royalty or Nobility?
-A chosen one
-Foretold in prophecy
-Not fully human or not human at all
-The last of their race
--The last of their race as far as they know
-Not from this world
--Specifically, from OUR world
-From another continent

Do they use a Sword as a weapon?

If they use a sword, do they use a Katana?
-Despite being of non-asian descent?

Do they use a very VERY large sword?
-Despite not looking nearly strong enough to lift the weight of those?
-Do they swing the sword VERY quickly?
-Do they hold their oversized weapon with one hand?
--Primarily?
--Or only in a victory pose?

Is there a logical reason for using a sword as primary weapon? (Ie, why use a sword in a sci-fi or steampunk setting when you can use a Gun?)

Do they just pick up the nearest weapon they can find and use it primarily?
-Is it a sword?

Do they have the ability to use any other melee weapon?
-Despite having no prior training?
-Despite having picked up the first weapon they found to defend themselves and decided to stick with that?
-Have they had training in other weapons?
--Has it been off-screen?
--Does the player have to train for them or build up skills in other weapon types?

Is their fighting style self-taught?
-And able to defeat experts who trained for years?

Are they younger than 20?
-Younger than 15?

Section the second: Allies

Do the hero's allies include any of the following:
-Their boss/commander/superior
-A family member
-A child below 10
-A member of the royal family
--Specifically a princess
-A female thief
-A ninja
--A female ninja
-A mage student who is still learning
--Who has the potential to be better than an old sage
-An Old Sage
-A mentor figure to the hero.
--A Jeigan if this is Fire Emblem
--A senior Jedi if this is a Star Wars game
-A reformed Henchman of the Antagonist
--Specifically an ex-general of an army
-A mercenary
--Who sticks with the hero
-Someone who is younger than the hero
-A rival character
--Who joined after having to be dueled several times
-Someone who joins for little to no reason.
-A comic relief character
-The hero or another character's pet
-The chosen one of the prophecy
-A childhood friend
-A spoiled brat
-A traitor
-A scientist
--Who is obsessed with collecting specimens and creating inventions
-A half-elf
-A full elf
-ANy non-human who was exiled by their people

Is the primary healbot-type character
-A female
--The chosen one
-The Princess
-Some kind of chosen one
-The hero's love interest
--The hero's love-interest since childhood
-utterly defenseless outside of battle
-The last of their race

Are any other allies
-A chosen one
-Foretold in prophecy
-Not fully human or not human at all
-The last of their race
--The last of their race as far as they know
-Not from this world
--Specifically, from OUR world
-From another continent

Is the female love interest to a male protagonist kidnapped?
-More than once?
-Three times?
-More?!

If a character is a reformed villain, do they completely reform?

If a character is 15 or younger, do they fight better than a person who had trained and fought for years? (This does not count if a character is a pet or non-human, such as Blanca in Shadow Hearts: Covenant)

If a character is a child, 13 or younger, do they act like they are much older than their age?
-Despite having been forced in to the situation?
-Are they the spoiled brat character? (eg annoying)
--Do they mature over the course of the game?
---Is their maturity on-screen, or automatically at the ending? (Cancels out the above option)

Does the spoiled brat character mature over the course of the game? (see above)
-Is the maturity on-screen or off-screen at the ending? (Do not select this screen if the child character is the spoiled brat!)

Does a non-party member but story-essential NPC play a major role in the story?
-Are THEY the chosen one?
-Are they royalty?
--Half-royal and therefore able to take the throne because of the dead ruler?
---Is this story essential to the plot of the game?
-Are they the female love interest?
--Does their arrival start a love triangle with another female character and the hero?

Was anyone exiled by their people or family?
-Was it their doing?
--Were they wrongly accused?
--Were they simply in the wrong place at the wrong time?
--Were they not involved at all and were framed as part of a conspiracy?
---Does said conspiracy take any importance in the story?
-Were they not officially exiled but are estranged because they ran away?
--Because they disagreed with their people/family's ways?
--Because they were abused?
-Will they have to return to their estranged people/family?
--And is this important?

Does a thief/ninjalike character conveniently meet up with the heroes when they are in prison?
-And are THEY in prison?
--Even though they oculd have broken out awhile ago?

Does any character(s) wear little clothes?
-For no logical reason? (eg they're in a snowy area and are wearing little more than Wonder Woman, see Angela)
-Are they a tank character who wears little to no clothes?
-Are they a female caster?
--While the male casters cover up as much of their body as possible?

Do males wear a little TOO much clothing?
-For no logical reason? (Eg people wearing a heavy coat in the Middle East or walking around in robes in African Deserts)
-Do they wear lots of clothes yet the females wear about as much as half?

Do any characters have an excessive amount or ridiculously proportioned...
-Extra long Scarf
-Huge pauldrons
-Lots of Belts or leather straps
-Lots of Zippers
-Long hood
-Huge shoes
-a huge hat
-A Hakama that seems too long
-Lots of Bracelets
-Lots of Rings

Do any characters wear armour that's COMPLETELY illogical to be wearing AT ALL?
(eg a woman wearing armour that covers only one breast, an archer using an arm with armour to load arrows, an assassin wearing a tiny mini-skirt, etc)

Do any party members have excessive decorations, such as spikes on their armour or clothes?

Setting

Does this game take place in the middle ages?
-Is the world or continent obviously based off of every conceivable place in the British Isles?

If not Ye Olde British Isles, does it take place in Feudal Japan?

Or a country heavily inspired by Asia, but mostly China or Japan?

Does it take place over a multitude of continents?
Do these continents include
-Ye Olde British Isles
-Feudal Japan
-Asia
-Africa
-South Pacific Islands
-Native America
-The Middle East

Does the multitude of cultures and settings include settings that aren't commonly seen in RPGs?
Such as
-India
-Southern Africa
-Northern Africa
-South America
-Australia
-Islanders

Is it a Modern setting?

Is it a modern fantasy like Final Fantasy 8?

Is it a Historical setting, like in Shadow Hearts?
-Do historical events actually take place in the game?
-Is it "loosely based off of historical events" like Jeanne d'Arc?
-Are there historical events, but are they in the background?

If it is a historical setting, is it in a time period that's been cliched into oblivion by other genres?
-Such as World War I?
-Such as World War II? (+20)
-Such as the War on Terror?
-Such as the Civil War?

Is it a Sci-Fi setting?
-Across a multitude of planets?

Is a space station used as one setting?
-Where the crap hit the fan and everything goes wrong?

Is there one city of technology that seems so advanced technologically compared to the rest of the world?
-Is it centuries ahead of the rest of the continent? (eg jumping from Ye Olde British Isles to Cyberpunk Central)
--And is there a logical reason for the jump? (eg Time Travel)
-Is this where an Airship comes from?

Is an airship used?

(this is a WIP)

What takes points OFF:

Does the reformed bad guy character maintain their original personality when they join the hero?

If a character or the hero had a bad past or fallout with their people, tribe, or family, do tey ever reconcile?

Does the spoiled brat character mature visibly on screen?

Does the hero ever run away because of fear?
-Do any other characters od the same?

If any of the characters ran away because of a fear, was it irrational?
-Was it their fault?
-Did they do it because they were afraid to face Punishment for some crime that THEY committed?

Do any non-human characters react in a non-human way to any given situation?

Is there a visible change in someone's personality?
-Over the course of the game? (as opposed to a complete 360)
-And do they ever revert to their own ways after they vow to change? (See: Luke Fon Fabre)

If Bows are used as a weapon by a party member, do they actually hit someone with the bow if the situation requires?

If someone uses guns, do they actually hit someone with a gun of the situation requires?

Is a rarely used setting (Such as Africa, India, Australia) used as the primary setting?
-Or at least the starting setting?
This is a WIP, similar to a Litmus Mary-Sue test.
